Answers to Sunday's quiz

Alright - I won't do this again ... my bad. GP wins my undying respect and admiration even though he hate Alanis' CD. Eyvi - you were a close 2nd and you already have my unyielding respect and admiration.
AVP - you were the first to guess Floyd ... but had the wrong song ... though it was an unfair question since their song titles are obscure at best.
Great effort Spot!
Thanks for answering first, Xtreme - you ROCK!

I am terrible with lyrics. Play me a tune and I'll name it in the first three bars. What side of the brain is that again? The front?

Ah well. I only got the Dr. Hook one because I read the lyrics to Mo's bf over the phone. And then he demanded that I go to youtube and watch the video but I refused because I hate people telling me what to do. So then he kept singing it (he's a musician) so I hung up. =]

GP - I so sorry. Though I had a feeling you would rise to the challenge and answer the quiz.

Doran - you are allowed to have not done my quiz ... you scary, dude ... plus - I live in awe of your slammin' stabbiness.

Spot - it's okay. Not everyone grew up listening to Dr Hook, Patsy Cline and Simon & Garfunkle (Mom)... mixed with Motown, Doobie Brothers and Floyd (Step father) ... adding in a little Eagles, Boney M and Fleetwood Mac (Biological Father)... really it isn't much wonder my musical tastes are so varied.

My musical collection starts wit Abba and ends with ZZ Top with a little bit of everything (including Skinny Puppy) in between.

Thank you to those who played :)

gp is starting to scare me with his musicality, for reals. It's unnerving.
'tis, indeed.

I bow to the master.

i am a music fiend. i play music in-store constantly and pretty much all day people come in and say how they haven;t heard some artist or another in ages.
true story: a woman started crying in my wine section because i was playing bow wow wow's 'do ya wanna hold me?' and she had listened to it after some dude in the middle 1980s stood her up for a dance.

i do love me some tunes.
