ARGH!

I'm having a bad combo of blogger-block and business ... blogockiness... okay ... and a little sick humor sprinkled on top.

I've been busy at stupid work ... and besides that, involved in something that I am not really ready to talk about on my blog at this point. Suffice it to say, if it is successful, you'll hear about it, and if I fall on my face ... well ... you'll get to listen to me bitching about it for a few months before I run outta fodder and have to move on to something else. (Arn'tcha excited?!)

Life has been hectic in a mundane and (ew - ready for a $5 word??) pedestrian sort of way. Each day starts and ends in precisely the same manner as its predecessor - with filling as similar as Boston cream and vanilla pudding. Don't get me wrong ... this is not meant as a complaint ... I'm okay without the drama. It has been my experience that wishing for excitement is tantamount to wishing for drama ... and we all know what happens then.

Nope - I'm all good.

Just have nothing very interesting ... or even really worth the effort of typing to share (WOW! You know you have reached a new low in laziness when you are too lazy to type). 

I have been having a rough time keeping up with everyone for a bit. I am sorry about that, I tend to miss you guys quite a bit. I got through a bunch today, but still have some of my fav's to read. 

I hope that as my little side project takes shape, I'll be inspired to share what's been going on. In the meantime, I hope everyone is well and I look forward to getting my groove back on.

I've been barely able to post more than once a week, and haven't been reading or commenting at all. Missing everyone as well. Will be hoping for the best for you!

I am so with you on the mundane days. So much so that the other day I was looking at the calendar and went all weird because I couldn't believe how fast this non summer has gone and how little I have done.
And your little side project...is it the thing with the thing with the that?
Yeah I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about either.

I know I have been a slacker on the fun MeMe's lately. I thought perhaps I might try to rectify this little problem and join in today with Chiefy and her highly fun theme. Without further ado: On Monday night, my hubs came home from work at his usual 10:30(ish) pm. I had recently awoken in my daughter's bed and come downstairs to watch one of my most fav shows (The Big Bang Theory ... don't judge me - it is funny!) ... This is dedicated to the one(s) I love .... (gotta sing it)

Yesterday was my 37th birthday. I was sick for the entire day and mighty worried I was in for a pretty miserable few days. I went to work and did my thing (I know I should have stayed home, but that is not the sort of place I work in) and the gals at my office threw a little lunch time party for me, complete with chinese food and cake ... and card and song and even a gift certificate for a hair-do at a local salon (okay - so you know your "do" is a "don't" when you get a certificate like this from your co-workers... unclench, Eyvi - I know I've been bitching about my hair for months ... I'm just funnin'). To them, I say TYVM ... for making me gain 5 more pounds... no, I'm kiddin' again - I am so touched. Thanks guys - you ROCK! I don't plan to spend a whole bunch of time yaking about the 'day' itself. Okay - So I Am Livin' in a Dream World...

Yeah, yeah - I know what yer thinkin' ... whaz up wid the new look?? Dani-fly? Really? Well - it wouldn't fit any other way ... not really a sessy reason, but the truth. And the pic? A gal can dream, can't she? I am trying the whole 'positive projection' thang... and I positively would love to project THAT image. So, this is my new look for a while ... and yes, I change my furniture around this often. It would appear I bore easily when it comes to decor - even in cyber space. ************************************************************************************ Okay, I just hung up the phone from Mr Dragonfly.
